I was late for the service today. We had a message on how the church is just an exterior but what matters is God's presence and not to belittle humble or small beginnings. As I listened to the message and pondered about God's (personal) word for me. I had an impression that if it is from God, we don't have to beg for it, but if God does not give, we as children cannot take it for ourselves. Especially for me, I'll like to think that nothing is beyond my reach. If I can see it, I can reach and try for it. Today I had a humbling word from God. You can't just go take whatever you want. If God is willing, you will receive.
Not sure if anyone has the same experience...
