Why I don't need investment advice...

We are investing for the long term. The market trends upwards. 10/20 years from now... Familiar phrases? Your agent told you to keep investing in this recession? Keep buying funds? How about those who's policy have reached maturity at this time? What will happen to them? It's time to retire and they are set back 10 years. Who's telling them their money hasn't grown or has shrunk this last year? The 'buy and hold' strategy works. But not for you. It works for that dude/lady who sold you that fund. It works for the fund managers who take a chip of the money every year. You cash out and they will lose... Big time... No more recurring commissions. More hard work on their plate. The 'buy and hold' strategy, February 25, 2009, by Goh Eng Yew states it all so clearly. Who has your interests at heart when it's their Lexus at stake? Thank God I have no money so nothing in the market. Only stuff I have invested is CPF dollars which the govt so evilly locked up. So I decided to invest it in some Eastern Europe fund in the boom times. When everyone was going BRICK, India, China, Property, and saying to me why you do that? I get 90% on India... Only 30% on your fund... I stand 25% up on this recession. I think there are few who can claim the same. Good luck guys. I hope you love your BRICK. Hope you are building a good retirement home with it.(pun intended)

I really hope they do something about these Financial Advisors still out on the streets cheating for fund money. Stop it... We're bleeding already.
