Is it just me or is the world of the internet moving more and more idiot-proof (or programming not required). I mean you still need to know some basics like where to insert embed codes etc but this is becoming easier and easier for the non-programming people like you and me. Well, I consider myself a non-technical person eventhough a lot of my friends still think I'm the programming whiz and all these funky things keep coming up on my website. The latest, check out my toolbar comes complete with search, recent posts, random post, Facebook Community (wonder where this resides in the main Facebook cos I can't seem to find it anywhere), Twitter and Facebook Fanpage (which I disabled cos I dun have 1)

The world of the internet is full of these nice and easy to use tools (though not all come without bugs or some trick or trap). All one need to do is to take time (lots of it like I do) and start noticing these tools and appreciating it.

With this new toolbar, I think I've found the answer to Dave's question on how can I help TedxSingapore users connect better? How about a small toolbar for them to connect to us on Facebook/Twitter. Why re-invent the wheel? I'm sure 90% of them have one or the other.
