I just lost and recovered my Android phone and I realised how many online IDs I have. Google (the almost 1 ID to rule them all), Facebook (my most used social networking site/ID), MSN (my oldest ID), Skype (This one doesn't need to be maintained but at some stage it's going to be between Skype and MSN, but until all my contacts have moved it will have to be both), Yahoo (only because at one stage yahoo was the best free webmail service). And then there's Linkedin and Ning, both which have to be used once in a while when someone from that network contacts me. The latest Twitter, the hype I was forced into using just to keep in fashion otherwise it's hard to say you know the online media if you don't know Twitter.
I just read "LinkedIn expands platform in attempt to one-up Facebook Connect" and I thought that it is going to be a showdown between Facebook Connect and Google for the "one online login to rule them all" (in Singapore especially since these 2 are the top 2 sites visited in Singapore). I have a Linkedin account but I don't really think it's going to be the account that I'm going to use to log into apps. In fact I barely even log into Linkedin unless I'm doing some cyber stalking work. I've previously written my online profile strategy (so that I don't spend the whole day updating my profiles).
