I got this off a Mashable article and it's based mostly on US internet startups. I'm half way round the world in a different setting but will be doing the same thing of raising money for my startup(s) in the next coming months.

startupstats1

So 12% are Asians and apparently they raise the most money. 92% male and mixed teams raise the most money. Only 29% from the 26-34 age group. Most fund raisers are 35-44. 45% have a Master's degree and only 4% have not formal college degrees, contrary to the concept of the Bill Gates/Steve Jobs era during the fire in the valley.

Chinese (Asia), 30, and on my way to my post graduate degree aka the MBA. Hope I make it to my next round of fund raising. Compare this with my last posting of graduates wanting to be entrepreneurs. The stats in Singapore will be interesting.
