I'm thinking about getting an iPhone 4 tomorrow. I've just checked the Singtel site for the MultiSIM VAS. Something that really struck me, the microSIM multiSIM subscription is about twice that of the USIM. Why is that? The microSIM is the exact same technology as the USIM just smaller in size. In fact if you used a cutter to cut the USIM into the size of the microSIM, it will work just fine. Why the price difference then? If they are going to charge me extra for the microSIM, I'm going to just get my own cutter and DIY. If they dun allow me to purchase the phone with a USIM, then I'm just going to another provider
If you are currently paying for multiSIM for your microSIM card at the higher price? Is this fair? This is really preying on consumer ignorance.
