Match Factor PDF Print E-mail

To encourage/allow late-comers to join in the prediction game. I'll be introducing a match factor into the matches.

The 2nd match which the teams play will have factor 2,

and the 3rd match factor 3 etc...

by the time we reach the round of 16, the factor will be 4, because that will be the fourth match, and quarter-finals 5, semi-finals 6 and the finals and third placing 7.

The factor of the match will act as a multiplier. So getting the scores right in the later stages will give the players more points. So if you are joining us later. You will still be able to win this. Getting both the finals and third placing right will give you a maximum of 126 points. That's if our current leader doesn't reach that mark before you. Join us and enjoy a bet-free and yet exciting World Cup.

The scoring for the prediction ranking is as follows:

1 point  for getting the win/lose/draw result in the first half right

3 points for getting the win/lose/draw result at full time

5 points for getting the exact full time score

Maximum number of points for each match is 9.
